Your safety is our main priority – and we want everyone living in or visiting our buildings to be safe. Here, you can report any fire or structural safety issues in your building.
Types of issues to report
- damaged or broken fire doors
- faulty fire alarm systems
- blocked fire escapes, corridors or exits
- signs of structural problems (cracks or unsafe balconies)
How to report a fire or structural safety issue
The quickest way to report a fire or structural safety issue in your building is by calling 0300 456 9996.
Alternatively, you can complete our online form. However, there may be a delay in responding to issues reported online.
Important information
If an issue poses an immediate danger to residents or members of the public, we will attend the site to carry out repairs within 24 hours.
High-rise building safety management
If a fire or structural safety issue related to a high-rise building (at least seven storeys or 18 metres tall) has caused or if not remedied is likely to cause serious harm to a significant number of people, we may report it to the Building Safety Regulator.
